Ebay And Dropshipping A Perfect Fit

Writen by Joe Clare

eBay and Dropshipping go together like a hand in a glove. As you read this article, right now, thousands of eBayers are running there own auction business. Some of them make little money, and some of them make real huge profits. Why? It is mostly due to the products they choose to sell, the Dropshippers they use and how they promote their eBay Business.

If you are new to Internet Marketing, promotion of your new eBay Business is key. Also, staying up to date with all the new and better ways to advertise and promote your business is cruical. Things on the Internet can change almost over night and to keep your eBay Business making money you must keep up with those changes. But don't be discouraged, the ease of using Dropshippers will allow you more time to concentrate on improving your sales skills and learning how to bring more customers to your eBay auctions.

The great thing about Dropshipping as outlined in my book "eBay Marketing Wholesale SourcePak" is that it will allow you to operate a Home Based Business as an Internet Marketer with out ever worrying about storage of inventory, packaging of inventory, or even shipping of that inventory. How? The Dropship supplier will look after all of that for you. And even greater still is the fact that your auction business will cost you very little to get started. The fact is, most Dropshippers charge you nothing to become a member to sell their products. While others may charge just a nominal administration fee. So, with such a low financial risk the only thing you have to lose is a bit of your time.

How does one put together eBay and Dropshipping? It's really very simple. First, browse eBay to see what kind of product(s) you would like to sell. Then sign up as a member with eBay. Once you have decided on a product(s), locate a Dropshipper for that product(s). Sign up with that Dropshipper and then place an auction on eBay for the item. Once your auction is over and you have a buyer for the product email your Dropshipper the required information. The Dropshipper will ship the product directly to your customer, and charge your account the wholesale price for that product. The difference between the wholesale price and your retail price is pure profit!.

To run a successful eBay Business you will need to sell what the public wants to buy. Always research any product before you decide to sell it. Make sure it is popular and you can get it at a great price.

Happy Selling!

How To Avoid Fraud When Buying From Ebay

Writen by Tony Newton

Everything in E-bay seemed perfect: nice shopping portal, almost complete buyer's list, and a convenient place to do shopping online. In fact, it's too good to be true.

If this is the case, then it's time for the buyer's warning signal to go red alert because if things on E-bay seemed to good to be true, it probably is and may not even be worth the buyer's time and money.

There are lots of frauds and scams' going on in the Internet today and E-bay is not excused. So, it's important for buyers to detect early signs of fraudulent activities before it gets them. Here's how to do it:

1. Buyers should look for the seller's feedback section. If a seller has many feedbacks and almost 50% of it is negative, chances are transaction with this seller will turn out a hoax, even if the seller has provided positive replies.

2. Online shoppers should be aware of emails contending it's from E-bay and certifying some seller as a good one. It's already anomalous in the first place because E-bay does not send emails. Plus, E-bay would definitely not certify a seller even if he or she has a remarkable selling history.

3. Buyer should be aware of sellers that insist on wire transfers like Western Union as mode of payment. In fact, E-bay does not recommend their buyers to use wire transfer services. If the seller insists on it, then, no doubt it's a scam.

4. Buyer should also be aware of "too-good-to-be-true" prices. Chances are items that are priced way below their real prices are signs of imminent fraudulent activities.

5. Online shoppers should take note of phishing emails. These are emails that require subscribers to fill out forms provided in the email with warning statements saying the subscriber's account will be closed if the person concerned will not provide the required pertinent information. Once given, anomalous activities are on their way like identity theft.

6. Buyers should also be aware of sellers that let them pay the bid amount to wire transfers directly from the buyer's checking account. Worst, the seller contends that the given bank account is Escrow's.

7. Online shoppers should be weary of institutions claiming they are escrow but ask payments be made to a person instead of a corporation. This is a clear case of scam.

So, to shun away from probable scam attacks, it's a must for every E-bay buyer to keep these tips in mind. It's better to be safe than dumb.

Tips For Successful Selling On Ebay

Writen by Cameron Ashwood

When it comes down to it, the success or failure of an Ebay auction often rests upon its listing. Creating effective and appropriate listing content may seem frivolous or boring, however, it really is essential in connecting potential customers to your product. Your sales depend upon the time and effort you invest in marketing your product. When you are selling on Ebay, "marketing" largely becomes "listing strategies."

One effective method is to create multiple auctions for spelling variations. Let's face it, many people either don't know how to spell or suffer the occasional typo. By listing with alternate spellings, you eliminate that as a factor separating you from your customer. For example, lacrosse equipment could be permutated into, "la crosse," "lax," lacross," etc. List several to reach the widest viewership. Beyond that, many items may have grammatically correct but varied ways of spelling. Therefore, if you have multiple quantities of the same item for sale, it may be effective to list all of them separately with varied spellings.

Before anything else, you will want to prune that listing title into something concise and informative. Avoid using useless adjectives such as "AMAZING," and interjections like "WOW." None of those are effective, and no one enters those terms when searching. They are simply a waste of valuable space. You only have 55 characters, so make them count. Imagine what people would type when searching for your item. Stick to targeted keywords that will connect you to the proper audience.

Your listing's item description is also important and should similarly include appropriate keywords, since some users search by description. At the same time, though, creating easy to read and engaging text is essential. Buyers obviously want to be as well informed about something as possible before they pay for it. Your description needs to be as thorough if you want to lock up that potential sale. In fact, it's better to include way too much information rather than not enough. Buyers hate having to ask questions about an item they are interested in. They'll usually just move on to the next auction.

You don't have to be an expert copy-writer to compose an item description that will persuade potential customers to buy your product. But there are a few things to remember. Breaking up your text into small, easily digestible paragraphs is softer on the eyes and allows the reader to scan. Also, be sure to avoid a detached, business-talk tone. Write in a conversational manner that readers can relate to and quickly understand.

Finally, consider using color and graphics. Don't go overboard, be sparing and tasteful, but at the same time avoid a monotonous and binary look. As always, less is more when creating a visual scheme. Stick to primary colors and professional looking graphics.

Ebay auctions should be treated just like any other online marketing venture. They require careful attention and effort if you want to generate serious profits. By bearing the aforementioned factors in mind as a starting point, you can move forward in continuing to optimize your Ebay auctions and online success.

Online Auctions Business

Writen by Helen Peshkova

Online auction sites are a great way to find a bargain on almost anything and an excellent way of getting the best price for selling something of your own. Online auctions are different from their real-world counterparts. You are free to take your time browsing the listings and bidding takes place over a period of days rather than minutes. Online Auctions offer good opportunity for anyone wishing to start an online business for a number of reasons. If you feel you have the persistence necessary to run your own successful business, this is one opportunity you should consider.

Basic Idea

Your business is to sell playing intermediary role helping people to buy items they need. You do not need stock as you can start by placing drop shipper's items on eBay to get you started. Drop shipping is used by intermediary and mail order companies who do not wish to stock inventory of the products sold for future delivery through mail order, catalogues and internet advertising. You send single unit orders for products to manufacturers, or major stocking distributors, who in turn drop ship the merchandise direct to your customers found at online auction. Manufacturers providing drop shipping services can gain additional sales, shift advertising costs to middlemen, offer advertising material and reduce inventory requirements. You shift the risks of stocking inventory to the supply source, including storage, insurance, overhead, and personnel by spending nothing on inventory, until after the product is sold.

Advantages

Minimal capital needed to start. You loose a few dollars in eBay fees if your item doesn't sell.

Disadvantages

Lack of public information on general sales methods and techniques used. This is not passive income system. You should work all the time you want to run your business.

Common mistakes to avoid

1. Listing an item with wrong auction expiration time. It's a known fact that more buyers browse auction sites on Sunday evenings than any other time during the week.

2. Not giving your listing the attention it deserves. Lots of people place items without photos and even good description. Lots of people use all kinds of flashing animation, multicolored text and other bells and whistles in an attempt to entice bidders. Listings like these are distracting, hard to read, and will always discourage people from bidding, resulting in a lower final sales price.

3. Using a reserve price. Using a reserve price to guarantee that one will get a minimum price for an item. People will not bid on "Reserve" auctions as they don't want to get "Reserve not yet met" message.

4. Not planning your business activities. It is always better to create business plan and start implementing it. Ebay business requires procedured to be done everyday so plan it thoroughly.

5. Not selecting several good drop shippers. Your business should be stable. Drop shippers can quit and also they can kill your business by not meeting your expectations. So rotate them until you get several good ones for your business.

Knowing How To Purchase Office Furniture On Ebay Is Half The Battle

Writen by Amy Lieberfarb

Trying to decipher through some online shopping sites can be confusing to the non-internet shopper, but with only a few tips and things to look for, it can be simple to purchase your office supplies, furniture and chairs online through eBay for your home or business. Knowing which things to watch for and how to search for the correct item and buy from the right seller is only half the battle, the rest is picking that perfect chair for you.

There are really two different ways to buy your office chair through eBay. Auction style listings with a 1-10 day fixed time limit going to the highest bidder are how eBay started out drawing their members. Now, after upgrades and advancement, they have many different ways to purchase. Buying office chairs and furniture through fixed price listings and through eBay Store listings seems to be the quickest and offers the best possible pricing.

In order to see the items that are listed under the auction style price category, simply enter the keyword term into the search box and see what listings appear. The listings directly below the box are the auction style ads with a fixed time frame of start and end that appears with each listing and current bidding price as well as photo, if available and a shipping cost.

With eBay Stores, you get the same display but with auctions at a set price and easy to compare statistics, you can arrange these lists by price, ending time or newly listed to help you in your search. This can be helpful if you know your price range to search for chairs in your budget. eBay Stores can make it easy to price shop since the items are usually available with a Set Price and Buy it Now option for immediate purchase, you don't have to wait until the end of auction to purchase, saving you time.

Including photos and up to 25 listings per page, it is better to narrow down your search to a more specific type of chair in order to find the right one quicker. In example, you could use the key terms like mesh, leather, executive, button tufted, big and tall or ergonomic. This small step in adding keywords can help save you time and better find what you are looking for.

With easy to search listings, custom order products and purchase now, pay now options, the eBay Store sites can even have the look and feel of any online shopping site outside of eBay. The more advanced the eBay seller and things such as eBay store design, Powerseller status, FAQ categories, store policies pages and positive feedback comments, the more desired the item should be to purchase with the guarantee of satisfaction.

Most sellers of a high end item such as office chairs should feature a return policy and money back guarantee in order for your security that you are receiving a quality product from a reputable seller. Once you have learned the art of negotiating through the eBay website and looking through the eBay stores, you are halway done and the rest of the battle is simply finding the right chair for you.

Setup Your Ebay Business To Succeed

Writen by Brent Shields

Many people do make good money with their eBay businesses. You can be one of those people if you take the right steps at the beginning to set up your business. You should approach an eBay business like any other. Do the necessary research first. Don't rush into it with dreams of making a quick fortune.

Take your time and familiarize yourself with the eBay website. Take notes of the type of products you are thinking of selling - check out the competition, pricing and most of all take particular note of actual selling prices and whether the bidding was slow or fast and furious.

There are literally millions (somewhere in the region of 100 million) of eBay members, but this does not mean you are going to reach anywhere near that number. They won't even know you exist unless you prepare your strategy first.

You'll find that a large number of successful eBay sellers have started off as buyers. This is a good idea as you can get a feel for how the whole system works, plus you will know what buyers are looking for and what problems you are likely to encounter. Being a buyer will certainly help you become a proficient seller as you will understand the system from both sides of the fence.

A few things to take note of while you are learning from the buyer's point of view:

* the customer service you received

* the accuracy of the description of the selling item

* the ease and speed of finalizing the transaction

* whether communication was good or not

* was the sales page well set out

* were delivery costs fair and reasonable

If you approach an eBay business like any other online business you will have a much better chance of making a good income. The following points should give you an idea of what you should be thinking about.

1. Decide whether you will set up an eBay Store

Whilst checking out the eBay website, you would have noticed a number of sellers have their own eBay Store. The advantages of this are many and you would be wise to check out the details of setting up your own eBay Store. Information is readily available on the eBay site.

2. Setting up your own Website

For many reasons, it is advisable to have your own independent website. Look at it as your "Head Office" with your eBay store as a subsidiary. If at some time in the future you decide to discontinue your eBay store, you will still have your business website.

Another good reason for setting up a website is that it gives you the ability to diversify your business. This can mean the difference between success and failure. It will also give you the ability to build a subscriber list that will be beneficial for both your eBay business and your own website business.

3. What Products are in high demand?

Take particular note of products that sell well and what the competition is. Also check the availability of the products as well as the cost. Armed with this information you can determine whether or not a product is a viable proposition.

4. eBay Learning Center and University

Before you think of buying tutorials on eBay trading, check out the resources provided by eBay.

The Learning Center will provide you with tutorials and guides relative to the different areas of eBay. In addition, you will find many free resources on the internet in the form of reports, tutorials and e-books. So have a good look around before paying for this type of information. Of course if you do purchase training products they will more than likely be a taxable deduction.

The eBay University runs offline and online courses covering every aspect of an eBay business. This is where you can learn tried and true methods from the experts.

Running your own eBay business can be a rewarding experience. To ensure you succeed, research your market and your product before undertaking your first Auction.

Remember you will receive queries from prospective bidders, so you must be extremely knowledgeable about your product.

Online Auctions 10 Secrets You Should Know Before Bidding

Writen by Pradeep Agarwal

Online Auctions are the best thing that has happened with the advent of Internet. It makes business online that much more easier and simple. Before you jump into the bandwagon, it is very important to know the facts about online auctions.

And the next time you decide to bid for a product or a service, do remember these vital online auctions secrets and tips.

1. Important to know the value of the product you plan to bid. Product is new? Check the price retailers are charging for it. It helps in two ways, you'll know the original cost and helps you to pay way less than the retail value, if it is old or re-conditioned.

2. To ensure that you get a good product, get the complete information and picture of the product from merchant, if the details are incomplete on the site.

3. Decide your maximum paying limit and stick to it lest you may end up caught in the 'bid war' and end up paying more than the actual cost.

4. It is always good to check a few auction sites for you may find the same product at a much lesser price in some unpopular sites simple because of the fewer number of buyers in those sites.

5. Make a note of the auction begin and end time. And the shipping time as well. This helps you to calculate the time when you want the product at a certain date.

6. Payments: Check the various payment modes the merchant offers. If checks and money orders are accepted, the delay in delivery will invariably be delayed for the payment has to clear. If the credit cards are accepted, ensure they have secure server.

7. Find out if the merchant offers a warranty or money back guarantee before the bid. Surely you don't want to be bogged down with a defective or unsatisfactory product.

8. Always good to check the track record of the merchant, if offered one. See if you can bump into any complaints from the past customers.

9. Start your auction early to convey a message to other that you're interested in the product. If someone outbid you, you do the same. Always remember your maximum bid limit.

10. The reason to know the bid time - it helps you place a last minute bid, assuming that other bidders may not have kept track of the bid time

Kick Starting An Ebay Business

Writen by Lanny Camden

Buying on Ebay is relatively easy. You just need some time to browse, stash a little money in the bank and double check your sellers feed back. I have made numerous purchases on Ebay, probably around 55 and 99.5 percent of the time it has been pleasant and enjoyable.

However, you might want to sell something on Ebay which requires a little more initiative and a few more steps. If your thinking of bay as a full time business then you need to set your sights on the position of PowerSeller which establishes you as a professional.

So what are you going to sell? There are some like Julie Johnson who sells a little of everything and profits to the tune of about $35,000 a month. This doesn't mean to sell just any thing, but to look for what the buyer is looking for. As you can see Ebay can be very profitable.

You can look for the hot items by going to http://www.pulse.ebay.com and research for hot, very hot, super hot and assemble a list of categories that buyers are looking for and you can market yourself.

You can click on the "In Demand" or use research tools from others like http://www.terapeak.com or http://www.mpire.com to further assist you in your searches. Once you begin to settle on the products or products then using Ebay's "Turbo Lister" or one like "The Poster Toaster" you can develop quality ads for listing.

Ads need plenty of good information as well as good quality photos. Remember the saying, "A picture is worth a thousand words." The photos can mean the difference between a looker and a buyer. Also be honest in your description of the item as you will be receiving feedback and it can and will be based on expectations of the buyer. Don't disappoint them by leaving out important details.

Tracking can be done with Ebays products or a better desk top program like "Shooting Star" all found on my web site. There are other software programs that can make life a lot simpler when selling on Ebay. The "Silent Sales Machine" is also a very informative ebook that will present many ideas and tricks to making Ebay work for you and not for Ebay.

If you happen to find a niche that is profitable and shows great interest then you can check with the trade shows to contract with a good supplier. You can find one good site for trade shows at http://www.eventseye.com/fairs/event_l241.html.

Once you start building your business don't forget the forums, Google ad Words and word of month as well as your business cards for added advertising. You can be the first to find that niche that the buyer market is rushing for and turn a tidy little profit yourself.

Lanny has been working on the Internet full time since his heart attack in 2004 which has disabled him from working a more stressful job. He has discovered that the Intenet provides him with easier work and more profitable income and allows him time for his prison, nursing home and hospital ministries. http://www.toolboxtraffic.net and http://www.websiteincome.net

How To Prevent Disappointing Ebay Auctions

Writen by Greg Lietz

You should be able to find several indispensable facts about eBay in the following paragraphs. If there's at least one fact you didn't know before, imagine the difference it might make.

The information about eBay auctions presented here will do one of two things: either it will reinforce what you know about eBay or it will teach you something new. Both are good outcomes.

Many first time eBay sellers have one thing in common – their eBay auctions flop. Many of them flop time and time again, with the seller never understanding what is going wrong. The seller ends up doing hours of research looking for the perfect item to sell, gets the auction set up, and waits for the bidding to begin. Hours go by and no bids are placed. Days go by, and there are still no bids – or there are very low bids. Finally the auction ends, and it turns out to be a total failure. Considering the huge number of sellers who run eBay auctions, there are specific things you must do, and specific things you must not do if you are to be successful.

There are many reasons why eBay auctions fail to produce. The most common reason is that the item is not in high demand. This problem can be avoided by doing the necessary research to determine which items sell well, and which items should be avoided. This research takes a great deal of time – but in the end, you will find that it is time well spent.

Another reason for eBay auction failure is pricing. No matter what your reserve price is, your opening bid price should never be more than $50. A low starting price is how you will attract potential bidders to your auction. If you set that opening bid too high, most people won't even click the link to read the description for your item. Another pricing problem is lack of research. Before you set your reserve price, you must determine what your item is really worth, and the price of similar items that have sold in past eBay auctions.

Poorly written descriptions are another cause of failed eBay auctions. Poor grammar and misspelled words drive people away. Failing to post a picture of the item will also keep people from visiting your auction page. Pictures show the buyer exactly what he or she will be getting and give them an idea of the true condition of the item. Make sure that your item description is well written. A well written description with enough detail about your item is essentially your sales copy.

Exorbitantly high shipping prices scare people away from eBay auctions too. Find the lowest shipping prices that you can find and consider paying for the shipping yourself if it won't cut into your profits too much. Do not charge handling fees.

Offer great customer service for all of your eBay auctions, and ask your buyers to give you feedback. If the items that you sell are everything that you said they would be, and you offer great customer service, you can expect wonderful feedback – and this feedback will help a great deal in your future auctions.

Those who only know one or two facts about eBay auctions can be confused by misleading information. The best way to help those who are misled is to gently correct them with the truths you're learning here.

Guaranteed Failure On Ebay How To Not Make It Big Time

Writen by Paul Duxbury

I am sure that like me you have read so many books and articles that explain in great detail how to make it big on the Internet and in particular on what is rapidly becoming the World's Marketplace - eBay! However, it's so often the things that we do wrong rather than the things that we spend so many hours ensuring we are doing right that lead to failure!

In fact it's surprisingly easy to kill your eBay business off in double quick time, if you're not careful. Sure, you can start over from scratch without it costing you anything, although all that hard earned feedback which you will have gained will go west wards when you sign up with your new name! So do you really want to start all over again? Well if you are like me no you won't. I know it's said that perseverance is the road to great success but when it's so easy to not get it wrong why go down that road?

Still, if you want your business to end up dead in the water, here are some simple ways to do it:

Lie about an item: Say it works fine when it sometimes doesn't work. Say it's in perfect condition when it has a scratch. Your customers will hate you!

Post whenever you feel like it: Make sure to leave your customers hanging around, wondering when their item is going to turn up. This makes sure they buy from someone else next time.

Let items end anytime: Few people will be around to care about your auction if it ends in the middle of the night. Why go to the trouble of working out whether auctions will end at a good time?

Don't bother with email: Customers are just timewasters anyway. eBay businesses are supposed to run themselves! Never give informed responses to questions about your item.

Sell rubbish: Really, it's just eBay. You can just sell any old tat from the market for a 200% profit. Let quality be someone else's concern – I mean, really, what do they expect for that price?

Refuse to give discounts: You know what your items cost, you know what your profit margin is going to be, and you're not going to negotiate. Remember that giving customers special deals might make them feel good and come back to you again.

Make your listings ugly: As many colours, flashing lights and animations as possible will really give those customers a headache. Write as much in CAPITALS!!!! as you can. Preferably big, red capitals. Be sure to use the fonts Impact and Comic Sans. For an extra special touch, see if you can figure out a way to add some music.

Don't take photos: It's such trouble, after all. If buyers are picky enough to actually want to see items before they bid on them, then screw 'em, that's what I say.

Write short descriptions: Be as brief as possible, and use lots of mysterious abbreviations. This obviously makes you look very cool. You can even just write the title again in the description box. Think of the effort you'll save!

Use reserve auctions: Now, this is a fairly controversial final choice, but it really is one of the best ways to scare away your customers. They'll see 'reserve not yet met', and click that 'back' button before you know it. Luckily, they can always bid in a normal auction for the item somewhere else.

So there you have it in a few short paragraphs and I will give you that famous "100% Guarantee" you will kill your business! However, there is another way and it's so easy to get things right - in fact I think it takes hard work to get it wrong!

Paul Duxbury has spent several years learning what not to do on eBay! He now sells quality eBooks through eBay and through http://www.pk-ebooks.co.uk. He has written many articles about eBay and these can be obtained through his Free Course at http://www.ebay-profits.co.uk

Guidelines For Completing A Transaction On Ebay

Writen by David E Nettey

Completing your eBay purchase couldn't be any simpler and easier. There are various ways to make payments on eBay. From credit cards, postal orders to bank drafts, cheques to e-cheques, these are all accepted on eBay.

Every seller on eBay has their own preferred methods of accepting payments, so it's always a good practice to check what payment methods are accepted by a seller before you conduct any form of transaction with them.

Make it easy and simple for both parties, you might be paying for only one item, but remember some sellers have to deal with numerous buyers, i know it's not your problem, but help them out and you'll have your item shipped quickly.

EBay recommends using paypal to make payments, but most people hate the idea of having to register with paypal in order to make a payment. Paypal is the favourite method of payment for most buyers though because paypal offers free protection, up to a $1000.00 on your eBay purchases. Just look out for the Paypal Buyer Protection in the Seller Information Box on the view item page to determine if your item is eligible. If Paypal's Buyer Protection Policy does not cover your item, their Buyer Complaint Policy may still cover you.

It's worth noting not all sellers accept paypal, when paying by other methods where you have to mail payments, always include a copy of the confirmation email from eBay or the seller, add your address on this email and also do write the item number on both the confirmation email and the cheque, if you are paying by cheque.

Let the seller know you have mailed their payment and when you think it will arrive, remember there are delays at the post office at certain times of the year. This way, when the seller has not received your payment, they will contact you, so you can chase it up with the postal authorities.

Postal orders, Bank Transfers, Money orders and Cash are all method of payments accepted by most sellers. Always remember to insure payments where necessary and always send these by registered mail.

When your item does arrive, do let the seller know by leaving a positive feedback if it arrived in good condition or as advertised. Be fair and honest when leaving feedback, remember that is what eBay members are judged by. If you feel the item is not as described or arrived damaged, contact the seller and try to resolve this mutually instead of leaving negative feedback.

Some sellers are willing to compensate you for your troubles, so it's always worth getting in touch with them before you leave them negative feedback. After all negative feedback will not replace your item.

Having said that, like all humans, there are always the few people who will test your patience, but always do make leaving negative feedback the last resort. Most sellers always want to have a pleasant relationship with their customers and will do all they can to make your eBay experience a pleasant one. Copyright © David E Nettey

The International Affiliate Program Of Ebay

Writen by Michael Sherriff

eBay trades in more than 33 international countries with over 157 registered users worldwide with 75 million based in the USA and 10 million in the UK.

eBay's affiliate program must be the mother of all affiliate programs as far as size and potential scope for earning an income through promoting other peoples items. Essentially this is what the program is, an affiliate program which works no differently to any other affiliate program.

The only thing that is slightly different is the angle of things. Normally a company offers a product for sale and you sign up to their affiliate program to promote the item for which you get paid a commission for each sale.

Essentially eBay's affiliate program is no different except that with eBay, instead of having one or two items to promote you actually have 55 million items to choose from at any one time as this is the number of auctions running on eBay continuously.

So, the trick of this game and to make some money out of it is to choose the category that you wish to promote, maybe you belong to a forum that deals in antiques for example. With eBay's affiliate tool box you can set your affiliate link to send your targeted visitors from the forum you post in to the top level category, and second level category or even a specific item.

There are easy and simple ways on which to create your affiliate link to take visitors to any category or indeed any specific page on any eBay worldwide site.

To secret to making money out of this is, as always, a targeted audience. No one is going to follow a link that leads them to a product page which is of no interest to them but by offering antique collectors a link directly to a page full of items that are of interest to them or indeed a specific item then you are more likely to get more click through. All the visitor needs to so then to earn you money is to either place a bid, use the buy it now option or the bigger money maker, register with eBay before they can bid or buy.

eBay pays varying commissions according to the number of people that join, bid or buy in a one month period. They also pay different amounts according to the country of the affiliate program you are promoting. The UK and USA has some big differences in price structure and volumes.

As you can see, making an income from eBay's affiliate program is not hard or really any different from any other affiliate program except that it's actually easier.

A Huge Selection Of Office Chairs Are Available Everyday On Ebay

Writen by Amy Lieberfarb

Ebay can offer great options when purchasing a new office chair for your business or home office. With a huge selection and new models constantly being added, you should be able to find the right office chair for you with relative ease. Auction style listings with a 1-10 day fixed time limit, which go to the highest bidder are how eBay started out drawing a crowd. Now they have many different ways to purchase.

Buying office chairs through Fixed Price Buy It Now listings and through eBay stores seems to be the quickest and offers the best pricing available on eBay. Although, auction style listings can sometimes end for pennies on the dollar, they are more time consuming and can end in prices way over the normal retail price.

In order to see the items that are listed under the Auction Style price Category, simply enter the keyword term into the search box on the eBay homepage and see what listings appear. The listings directly below the box are the auction style listings all with a fixed time frame of start and end that appears with each listing and current bidding price as well as a photo, if available, and a shipping cost.

With eBay Stores, you get the same display, but with auctions at a set price and easy to compare statistics, most with buy now options. You know how to compare pricing because you know what price the auction will end at. This makes price comparison and even "window shopping" of a sort, possible and quick.

With easy to view photos and up to 25 listings per page, it is better to narrow down your search to a more specific type of chair in order to find the right model quicker. This small search step can save you time and help you to find exactly what you were looking for. Many keywords such as ergonomic, leather, executive or mesh are commonly used to help in the search.

Office chairs offer a huge range of pricing and options available but so does eBay, making it easy to find a great chair for a terrific price. Once you know what you are looking for in both a chair and a listing on eBay, you are halfway done and the rest of the battle is simply picking the right chair for you and getting comfortable once it arrives.

From Ebay Zero To Powerselling Hero Dont Be That Random Ebay Guy

Writen by Isaiah Hull

If I could convey only one concept to someone who was about to start selling on Ebay, it would be this: no one has ever purchased anything on Ebay with this in mind--"I think I'll buy something on Ebay from some random guy and pay more than I would at the store down the street."

No one has ever said that. Not once. That is why Ebay sellers who appear to be "that random guy" always fail miserably. It's not enough to simply be professional and responsible. You have to make an active effort to appear professional and responsible.

To begin with, you must actually have a good deal. There are dozens of liquidators and wholesale outlets. If you do your research, you should have no problem finding good prices on anything you want to sell. I list a number of the best ones in my book.

Once you have something good to sell and a good source to buy it from, you have to decide how you are going to present it.

At this point, you are giving your customers a good deal --which is important--but if you don't present it as a good deal, they will have no way of knowing.

One way you can do this is by setting yourself apart from the pack with a unique selling proposition: tell potential customers exactly why they should shop at your store over other Ebay sellers' stores.

For instance, if you know that the sellers in your category who undersell you can only do it because they are selling damaged or refurbished products, then tell that to your customers. Let them know that your products may cost a few more dollars. . .but if they buy it somewhere else for less on Ebay, it is probably broken.

You will also want to add extra services and guarantees to your product that no one else offers. For example, you could give free support or free shipping. Or you could guarantee to ship everything within 24 business hours of purchase. Or you could bundle your product with other products. Whatever you do, your goal should be to gain a competitive edge over big sellers by adding an unquantifiable amount of value to your item.

. . .but even this is not enough to make you appear professional and responsible.

You must frame your products in a template that looks professionally-designed. You will need to either learn HTML or purchase a template from Ebay or elsewhere. In the end, you need to ask yourself this: "if I stumbled over this auction, would I think it was professional--or would I immediately move on?"

It is also a good idea to ask another person what they would do, since it is often hard to judge your own work.

In addition to this, you will want to operate like a real business would. You should email your customers with shipping confirmation numbers. You should be polite to customers and use a systematic process to conduct all transactions and customer interactions.

Everything I mentioned in this lesson is relatively simple. Most of it can be accomplished in a matter of hours; however, the vast majority of Ebay sellers neglect to do it. If you put everything in this lesson into practice, you will immediately put yourself light-years ahead of all stores that look like "that random Ebay guy."
